Client Agreement

This document has been prepared with reference to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and general Indian consumer protection principles as understood at the time of drafting. It is provided to assist HappinessCue's operations and has been prepared by an AI system, not a licensed advocate. It should be reviewed and formally approved by a qualified Indian lawyer before public launch, and periodically thereafter as law and platform features evolve.

This Client Agreement supplements our Terms of Use and applies specifically to your use of HappinessCue as a Client seeking guidance from Experts on the Platform. In the event of any conflict between this Agreement and the Terms of Use on matters specific to Clients, this Agreement shall prevail.

1. Your Relationship with Experts

When you book a session with an Expert, you enter into a direct guidance relationship with that Expert. HappinessCue facilitates the discovery, booking, and delivery of that session but is not itself providing the guidance, and is not a party to the substance of what is discussed or advised during your session.

2. Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate information when booking a session, including regarding the nature of the guidance you are seeking, to the extent requested, so that Experts can prepare appropriately and determine whether the session is within the scope of guidance they are able to offer.

3. Non-Medical Nature of Guidance

HappinessCue Experts provide non-medical, non-clinical guidance. If you require medical diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, or emergency support, please consult a licensed medical professional or refer to our Safety & Crisis Support Notice.

4. Respectful Conduct

You agree to engage with Experts respectfully and in good faith. Abusive, threatening, or harassing conduct toward an Expert, whether during a session or through the Platform, is a violation of our Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct and may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Reviews You Submit

Following a completed session, you may be invited to rate and review your Expert. Your review should reflect your genuine experience. We reserve the right to hide reviews that violate our content standards, with reasons logged, as described in our Terms of Use.

6. Being Rated by Experts

As explained in our Privacy Policy, Experts may privately rate certain aspects of your conduct during a session (such as punctuality). These ratings are not shown to you or to other users, and are used internally by HappinessCue for account-integrity purposes only.

7. Payment and Cancellation

Your bookings, payments, cancellations, and any applicable refunds are governed by our Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of this Agreement.

8. Account Suspension

HappinessCue may suspend or terminate your account for violations of this Agreement, our Terms of Use, or our Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct, following the process described in those documents where applicable.
