You can change either your email or your mobile number yourself from your Account Security page, whether you're a Client or an Expert — it's the exact same process either way.

Why it's a two-step process

To make sure nobody can hijack your account by simply guessing or requesting a change, we verify both ends: first, we confirm you still control your current email/mobile, then we confirm you control the new one. Only once both are verified does the change actually take effect.

What to expect

  1. Request the change and confirm you still have access to your current email or mobile (via a link or a one-time code).
  2. Once that's confirmed, we send a verification code or link to the new email/mobile you're switching to.
  3. Confirm that, and the change is complete — your login and account records update immediately.

How often you can do this

There's a cooldown period between changes (currently 30 days, admin-configurable) — this is a light anti-abuse measure, not a punishment; most people never hit it.

If this feature isn't available on your current plan, you'll see that clearly on the page rather than a confusing error.
