If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it yourself, in a couple of minutes, without needing to contact support.
Requesting a reset link
From the login page, choose "Forgot your password?" and enter the email address on your account. Whether or not that email actually matches a real account, you'll see the same message — "If an account with that email address exists, a password reset link has been sent to it." This is deliberate: it stops this form being used to check whether a given email address has an account here at all.
Using the link
If the email matched a real Client or Expert account, a reset link arrives at that address. Clicking it takes you to a page where you set a new password — it needs to meet the platform's current password requirements (shown right on the form), and you'll enter it twice to confirm.
How long the link is valid
The link expires 60 minutes after it's sent (this window is admin-configurable and may change). After that, it stops working, and you'll need to request a fresh one from the same "Forgot your password?" page. A link is also single-use — once you've successfully reset your password with it, it can't be used a second time.
If you're not getting the email
Check your spam folder first. If it still hasn't arrived after a few minutes, you can request another one — requesting links and submitting a new password are each rate-limited separately, so normal use of one never counts against the other. If you've requested several links in quick succession, wait a bit before trying again.
A note for Admin accounts
This self-service flow is specifically for Client and Expert accounts. An Admin account uses a separate, more tightly controlled recovery process — see Super Admin: Changing Your Password, Changing Your Login Email, and Recovering Your Account, or contact another Admin for help.
After a successful reset, you're taken back to the login page to sign in with your new password.
