A few honest, practical notes on keeping your account secure.
Choosing a password
When you register, your password needs to meet the platform's current minimum requirements — shown right on the registration form, since exactly what's required (minimum length, and sometimes a mix of upper/lowercase, numbers, or symbols) is admin-configurable and may change over time. Use a genuinely unique password you don't reuse elsewhere.
If you need to change your password
You can reset your password yourself, at any time, without waiting on support — see Resetting a Forgotten Password for the real, self-service "Forgot your password?" flow. It's available for both Client and Expert accounts, and you don't need to already know your current password to use it.
General good habits
- Never share your password or one-time codes with anyone, including someone claiming to be HappinessCue support — we will never ask you for either.
- Keep the email address on your account current, since it's how we reach you about anything security-related.
- If anything about your account looks unfamiliar, raise a ticket straight away rather than waiting.
